We drove through Ogden UT on our way back from Promontory Point, and caught some great sites...
Spectacular mountain scenes.
The Mormon Temple in Ogden,
and Union Station. The Ogden Union station was an embarkation point for troops going to and coming back from duty during WW II both from the Pacific and European theatres of conflict.
And, of course, with pics of our feet in Lake Itasca...the headwaters of the Mississippi; Lake Superior; and, Lake Michigan - we couldn't pass up taking a couple of pics with our feet in the Great Salt Lake.
The Salt Lake is 70 miles long...and 45 miles wide.
