We headed down the coast of Oregon on the 101. What a beautiful sight. The waves coming up on the rocks were quite a sight.
And we saw Sea Lions. They clustered out the in the water. We stopped at a Sea Lion cave "event" and were told to save our $10 fee to the cave where the sealions live...because they were all out in the water. :-)
Then as we traveled south, we hit the Dunes. Sand Dunes. That just didn't compute for us. Sand dunes on the ocean. But, there they were. The dunes ran for about 40 miles. Some of the dunes were very high...and some had vegetation growing on them. WE hope to do some sort of sand dune buggy ride before we leave the area.
