We started out early, not knowing how well the RV was going to take to the mountains we had in front of us. We stopped - somewhere in the middle of the state - and took pictures of the gorge carved out by the Columbia River. Breathtaking views.
It took us only a short while of "up the hill," "down the hill," "up the hill," "down the hill" to realize that this was a piece of cake compared to the roads we traversed in Montana...and coming into Coeur d'Alene. Our original plans were to stay in Ellensburg...but going straight through to Seattle made more sense, so we arrived at Susan and Lindsey's on Saturday (our Anniversary) instead of Sunday. Don't you just love the view from their living room.
After a bit of chatter...since we didn't have a spot reserved for Saturday night...it was decided that we would stay on the dead end street two doors up from Susan and Lindsey's house. We ended up staying there the entire week...after cancelling our reservation.
We didn't have the hook-ups (like at Pete, Norma, and Daves), but everything we didn't have on board was only 2 doors away. :-)
