Our week back in O Fallon had high points and low points.
When we got situatated at Babler, we went to see Charli and Jada in their Gymnastics class. What fun! Then we went out for pizza with the girls and Brad and Sheila. Great start to a short week back home.

The low point was our "generator." It had been giving us problems...wouldn't keep running more than 30-40 minutes. It wasn't a problem for our travels at the time...because we usually get electrical hookup...but thinking ahead of "what are we going to do out in the middle of Montana or Wyoming if the park has no electrical, and we are with no source of electricity."
So...we packed up the RV and drove it to North City (Adelaide and Hall) and spent the entire day waiting for the RV...New carbourator. Great! We're on our way...the generator kills just as we approach the airport. Guess we need to go back on Wednesday.
Tuesday night was our reunion of our Supper Club from Pfizer. Short a couple of couples, but a good time was had by the Arhancets, Kelemens, and Stegemans. Probably won't connect again until next spring.
Wednesday 7:00 a.m. breakfast with Linda Taylor (a 7 or 8 year tradition). ...done just in time to be first in line after breaking down camp again and driving to North City. Another whole day shot...the solution was a hole in the manifold. Fixed...we're on our way...the generator is humming...I've got electricity to work on my computer...until...just short of Hanley street, it quit. And couldn't get re-started.
Impromptu dinner with Taylors on Wed...and we returned to camp, knowing that we'd be first in line at the Generator shop in the morning after breakfast with Rita and Charlie at First Watch.
THIS TIME...the technician went with us. We went all of the way to St. Charles Rock Road, and turned around. Generator purring like a kitten the whole way...and Jean is thinking "A watched pot never boils!" Lucas and Hunt was the magic bullet...the generator stopped...the tech hopped out...and low and behold...it was the gas pump. So there you have it. Fixed...and we got back to camp just in time to take off for Jenn's - she was hosting family dinner. We thought Justin might ask Ron that night if he could ask Jenn to marry him...but it didn't happen. Hmmmm.
Friday night Brad, Sheila and the girls camped out with us...and we were up on Saturday headed for Lawrence, KS to see Wendi, Chris, Addi, and Rowen.
