Vermont and New Hampshire

Vermont was a disappointment.  We were supposed to be seeing color the first week of October...how much do YOU see???  There was some color in the Green Mountains...but with the rain and fog...no way to take a pic.                          Our campsite was nice, tho.  Secluded in the trees...Nice to sit out by a camp fire in the evening.  I guess there are give and takes to everything.

On to New Hampshire

The Atlantic Ocean at Hampton was Awesome.  We really enjoyed watching the surfers.  (Fully clad with winter wet suits.)  Most of the town was shut down.  Open only on Fri. and Sat.  We were there earlier in the week.  We were finding that many of the spots were closing right after Labor Day...and open only for the weekends.  But we managed to get seafood at the local restaurants.  Ohhhhh....seafood!!!  (More on this to come.)
