Cleveland, OHIO
We arrived in Cleveland just in time for our Trolly Tour of the city...We called ahead, and were told that we could park "overnight" in their parking lot. Well...we were good with that, because we were going to take a dinner cruise after the trolly tour, and weren't feeling real confident about getting out of the "wharf district" to anywhere else in the world at 10:30 in the evening.
Cleveland stadiums had to be on the list...and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In front was the "BUS" donated by Johnny Cash and his wife. Big hummer!!!
A "peace" statue in the center of town...with a motto to END ALL WARS.. If only....
Restaurant not important...Gas light goes back to the beginning of time. :-) Statue in front of Federal Reserve. Hole in her right toe for machine guns...protecting the $$$$$$$$$$$.
Our Nautica Queen on the left... and a tanker in the canal...(heading for Erie???) Huge. We wondered how it would round the bend.
The couple we had dinner with on the cruise....and night lights in Cleveland. By the way, our parking "fee" was returned, because we called ahead...and there was 24 hour security in the lot. Can't beat that for zero rent.
